The short version: we don’t track you.
The Sevier Chronicle sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics, ad networks, or tracking scripts. We do not collect your name, email, or location.
What Other Services See
Hosting. The site is served by Vercel, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) to operate and secure the service.
Fonts. Our typefaces load from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google’s servers when a page loads.
Video. Video stories show a thumbnail image from YouTube. The video player itself does not load until you press play, and then it uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Once playing, YouTube’s own privacy policy applies.
Sponsors. Sponsor links go straight to the sponsor’s own website. We do not add tracking codes to them.
